Information on this website

The content on this website is provided for general information only. It is not intended to constitute medical advice, diagnosis or a recommendation about treatment. Although we take reasonable care to keep the information accurate and up to date, medical knowledge, clinical guidance, services, clinicians, prices and availability may change. We do not guarantee that every item of information will always be complete, current or free from errors. You should not rely on information on this website as a substitute for an individual consultation with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Medical emergencies and urgent care

IIS Health Ltd and The Cheshire Hand Clinic do not provide an emergency service, and this website is not monitored for requests for urgent medical assistance. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 999 or attend an Accident and Emergency department. If you require urgent medical help but it is not a life-threatening emergency, contact NHS 111 by telephone or through the NHS 111 online service. Further guidance is available from the NHS.

Appointments and clinical care

Submitting an enquiry, sending an email or using this website does not create a doctor–patient relationship and does not guarantee an appointment. Appointments cannot currently be booked or paid for through this website. To enquire about or arrange an appointment, please telephone us on 0333 240 8090. Any assessment, investigation or treatment will be discussed separately with you. Where applicable, you will receive information about the proposed treatment, associated fees and other relevant arrangements before proceeding. Our clinical services are provided only to adults aged 18 and over.

Consultant and service information

We take reasonable steps to ensure that information about our consultants and services is accurate. However, consultant participation, appointment availability, facilities and services may change. References to particular treatments do not mean that a treatment will be suitable for every patient. Treatment recommendations can only be made following an appropriate clinical assessment.
